Pound is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series. Burn between 600 and 900 calories per hour, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique – all while rocking out to your favorite music!
Through continual upper body motion using our lightly weighted drumsticks, called Ripstix™, you'll turn into a calorie-torching drummer, Pounding off pounds as each song flies by. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, SculptNShape gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 430 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
STANDARD is 45 minutes in length (including a warm-up and cool-down) with a focus on tempo, timing and rhythm. All of the hand and body positions are used to keep the class fast paced and invigorating from start to finish. The Standard class is the basis of any class typically taught at Imagine, taking spinners through easy, medium and intense energy output levels.
BEGINNER classes are essential for those new to the sport. It is very important that the first-time spinner has a positive experience at ease with other beginners in the class. It is also a great way to refresh after having taken time off. All of the hand positions are taught and bike set-up and proper cycling techniques are shown. These classes will be less intense than The Standard spin class but will build your confidence and strength so that you can join in all the other classes taught at Imagine.

STRONG by Zumba
STRONG by Zumba is effectively a high intensity workout that has put a unique spin on challenging HIIT exercises by syncing the moves to music. The idea is that we take your cardio exercise to the next level."While it might be Zumba by name, this is not Zumba by nature. Gone are the shimmies and merengues and in their place are squats, burpees and core-cinching moves that will certainly leave you feeling strong (and sore!)
Take your practice to a whole new level! ZERO GRAVITY AERIAL YOGA incorporates a low-hanging fabric hammock to partially or fully support the weight of the student as they flow through their yoga practice. EXPLORE YOUR LIMITS when gravity is taken out of the equation for maximum stretch with minimal effort, flipping upside-down with ease while putting NO pressure on the head or neck. By creating traction through the spine, aerial can increase intervertebral space and help to ease back and joint pain by relieving the adverse effects of everyday life.
The practice develops greater upper body and core stability and overall flexibility as well as offering an opportunity to experience the benefits of advanced yoga postures such inversions and backbends safely. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.
Flow yoga, in which movement is synchronized to the breath, is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. This style is called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you to flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale.
When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast.
Line dancing is quickly becoming a popular form of exercise. It is an excellent way to stay fit no matter what your age. Although line dancing has become synonymous with country music it is not limited to country music. There are dances to just about all your favorite songs you hear on the radio. Basic line dances focus on movements of the legs and feet, with more advanced dances including the arms and hands. Because its steps are simple and don't involve dancing with a partner, line dancing is ideal for singles and non-dancers.
Clogging, or clog dancing, is a lively folk dance with roots in Irish jig, English country dances, Scottish dances, African steps and rhythms and possibly even a bit of Cherokee Indian. It is a percussive dance, meaning the dancers beat out rhythms with their feet. Settlers brought their own dances and music to the Appalachian Mountain area. These steps and styles mixed together into what we now call clogging.
Modern Clogging is similar in style to Tap, Line Dancing, Irish and Canadian Step Dancing all rolled into one. We dance to current music styles such as Pop, Country, Rock, Gospel, Irish and Bluegrass (basically any music with a solid downbeat). Canadian Clogging is more of a social dance. There is no focus on competitions and costumes. Just an enjoyable class or two a week of dancing with others who also enjoy it. Our dances are cued (each step is called out prior to doing it) which means memorizing dances is not required, unless you are part of a performance group.
